Members of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish

Non-members of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish

* A nonrefundable Book Fee of $75.00 will be due for 1st – 5th grade registration but if paid by April 30th the fee will be $60.00.

* A nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 will be due for Kindergarten registration.  This deposit will be applied to the $75.00 book fee and first month’s tuition.

* Lunch Fee – A lunch fee of $725 will be charged to all K-5 students.

* Volunteer Service Program – Because volunteers are vital to the success of our school, each K-5 family attending Holy Trinity Catholic School is required to donate their time and talent for a minimum of 10 hours per year. Holy Trinity Catholic School feels very strongly that our parents’ time and talents are more valuable than money; but parents are given the option of choosing to pay $300 instead of the 10 volunteer hours. If a family has not completed their required 10 hours of service by April 15th, the $300.00 will be charged on their May tuition statement.

Tuition Assistance

Through the continued generosity of many donors, Holy Trinity Catholic Schools is able to offer tuition assistance for families that qualify. Many of our families are also eligible to apply for a scholarship from the SD Partners in Education. If you are interested in sending or continuing to send your children to our school, but are concerned about your ability to pay tuition, please consider applying for financial aid. Tuition assistance is available for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Parents are encouraged to meet all deadline dates.

We use a tuition assistance service called TADS (Tested & Designed by Schools). This is the service being used by the SD Partners in Education so that parents can apply for both HTCS Tuition Assistance and SD PiE scholarships in the same application.

If you need help with the online TADS application, please call the school office. We are willing to help families complete the application and have Spanish interpreters available.

All tuition assistance applications are completed online:

Through this online application you can apply for:

  • HTCS Tuition Assistance – Local tuition assistance awarded according to HTCS Policy.
  • South Dakota Partners in Education – This is an income based scholarship for students in Kindergarten or 1st grade or students who are enrolling at HTCS for the first time. Qualification guidelines can be found at http://mytads.com/fa/sdpe.
    • All new students must complete the application.
    • Once a student qualifies, his/her qualification is good for three years.

If you have a question about whether you need to apply, or if you need help with the application, please call Michelle Schoenfelder at 352-9344.

Complete the application, upload the required documents (current taxes and W-2s, a recent paystub, and documentation of social security or food stamp benefits), and provide payment through this online submission form. Missing information or documents will stop your application so please read and complete the application carefully!

Applications should be completed online by May 15.

Please feel free to call (352-9344) or stop into the school office with any questions.

Uniforms

Uniforms are worn by Holy Trinity Catholic School students on Mass Days (Wednesdays) and Other Special Days. The objective of the coordinated dress code is to exhibit reverence for the Sacrament of the Eucharist while showing school unity and pride. Students in grades K-6 will be expected to follow the coordinated dress code on Mass days (Wednesdays) and other special days as indicated by the school. A special day could be defined as a Holy Day, field trip, special Mass, or a school wide event.

Uniforms consist of:

Pants: Any type of Khaki/Tan dress pants or knee length skirt for girls is allowed as long as the material is not a denim jean or sweatpants. Khaki shorts may be worn on field trips.

Shirts: Any plain white or navy collared shirt (long or short sleeved, polo or button down).

Sweaters: Any plain white or navy sweater will be allowed.
